Historic Dairy Barn

The historic Lareau Barn was built in 1798 by Simeon Stoddard, one of Waitsfield's first physicians.  Carefully and lovingly restored by a historic preservation team in the summer of 2016, the barn offers a rustic and memorable setting for private events.  Gather with friends and family against a backdrop of rough-hewn beams and hardwood floors in one of the Mad River Valley's oldest surviving structures.

Surrounded by a pastoral Vermont farm and overlooking the Mad River, the Barn offers two rooms, which can accommodate up to 60 guests. The perfect setting for private parties and rehearsal dinners.
